Your Church Farm House Hosts

Dick & Georgia Bassett

Your hosts are Dick & Georgia Bassett, who first opened Church Farm House to paying guests over twenty years ago. They arrived in the UK over four decades ago. The American accents will give you a hint as to their heritage. After teaching music in London for over twenty years, they started a new career — founding and running The Association for Music in International Schools. Sadly, Bonnie the dog (who has been canine hostess at Church Farm House for over 15 years) died peacefully in November, 2019. Benson has taken over the canine hosting at Church Farm House and carries on the tradition of offering a warm Church Farm House welcome to guests.
